Based in the North Island of beautiful New Zealand, @nzmares has used hoof boots for 7 years and was introduced to Renegades by @myhorsewillow.
Her horses have always been barefoot, and never shod.
She uses Renegade hoof boots for road ride protection, and for arenas with rough surfaces as her quarterhorse mare has very sensitive hooves. Her friesiansporthorse has very strong hooves but tends to scuff when she's excited and can wear down her hoof angles quite quickly on a road ride if she's spooky.
